I had my post-op today and was presented with some good news… I didn’t have a torn rotator cuff! Doctor said it was probably “incidental” on the MRI. He explained the photos I was given to take home after the procedure and there were a few things he explained.
He showed me that there was no problem with the rotator cuff. He also explained that the gnarly-lookin’ part was the Bankart Lesion and said it was probably necessary to get that fixed. There was also a large hemarthrosis (bleeding) which had to be cleaned up before he could really start the procedure.
